CWR has historically spearheaded projects that support leaders of color in our sector. For example, we helped design and execute the first Community Leadership Project of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, a capacity building project serving 12 agencies led by and serving communites of color. And we founded and currently lead Silicon Valley Next (SVN), an innovative program that develops the future generation of executive leaders: 10 of the 12 current SVN Fellows are young leaders of color.

We are expanding on this historic committment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by bringing on to our team, Kris Starr-Witort. Kris has nearly 20 years of expereince in the sector with a focus on DEI related work. She began her partnership with CWR as a co-designer, facilitator, and coach in the Silicon Valley Next program. 

In her new role as part of the CWR team, Kris will be providing coaching and consulting to executives seeking to launch or expand their organization's DEI efforts. We're excited to welcome her and to continue our firm's growth in serving the sector in this key area.
